The Honest Toun Lassies

Official Chapter Of The Red Hat Society

Welcome To Our Chapter.

The Honest Toun Lassies are an official chapter of

The Red Hat Society.

Come and join us, let the little girl in you come out to play, relax let your hair down and ENJOY.

“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in side ways – Chardonnay in one hand and strawberries in the other – the body all used up and worn out, screaming – Woo Hoo, what a ride”

We are those ladies, we are going to enjoy life to the full.  How can you fail to be happy, all dressed up in your finest Red and Purple outfits, and don’t forget THE HAT, and all the bling you want?

Don’t sit at home wondering what to do, come and join us.

If you only do what you have always done, you will only get what you have always had.  So try something new with us, something you have always wanted to do but wouldn’t try on your own.  There is no joining fee and no continuation fee, members pay their own expenses for events.

Ladies are strongly encouraged to follow these colour guidelines, and to NOT wear PURPLE and RED until they have reached THE BIRTHDAY (50 years young). This adds an element of fun to aging, which we think is invaluable to women in our society who have learned to dread aging and avoid it at all costs.  We believe that aging should be something anticipated with excitement, not something to dread.  No more drab colours wear PURPLE and RED and SMILE everyone will wonder what you have been doing.

To be a Red Hatter you must be 50 and over, wear Purple outfits and a Red Hat, under 50s (lucky ladies), you must wear Lavender outfits and a Pink Hat - known as Pink Hatters.

Members of the Red Hat Society must promise to have fun and treat one another with kindness and consideration,

We were a newly formed chapter in July 2008 and are open to both Red and Pink Hatters.
